It's my first time to read for Garrett Cook but it was a good read and I've enjoyed it so much going through time.If you like bizarro and intelligent novels which make you think deeply to get the real and hidden meaning behind the story then it's for you. I liked the novel so much and recommend it!

I tend to interject my reviews with spoilers, so I'll be a good guy today and just let you know what it feels like to read Time Pimp.
Remember MTV's "Liquid Television?" It was this show featuring a litany of animation from the weirdest minds around. Reading this book is like revisiting the joy I felt when I saw my first episode of that production. You'll be treated to a maelstrom of mind-and-physics bending action from the first page. Nothing here is real, but you won't question reality by the end of the first chapter. It just is what it is. I highly recommend this book if you want something INSANE.
Seemed to have no plot or purpose. Not funny not fun and finally gave up half way through. I normally like bizarro but not this.
Time Pimp travels the universe and time in a big purple Cadillac hooking up people throughout history with the finest hos. Everyone from Dante and Sylvia Plath to Caligula and Freud. Even Sherlock Holmes makes an appearance. He battles his brother and hater Death Pimp the leader of the Morality Front which is as much as misnomer as you can imagine. Under all the pimpin', pandas, and leather nuns, is a fascinating hero's journey story. It's bizarre and filthy and deviant and wonderful.
AWESOME AUTHOR, EXCELLENT NARRATIVE, GREAT STORY
If you start a book with a pimp trying to help Dante to um...get love, so to speak, you have me; Cook wrote an original, crazy, and cool book I highly recommend.
The parts of this book that aren't lame are *very* lame!
